French Linen Duvet Cover
Linen Duvet Cover
Our linen duvet covers feature twill ties at all four corners so duvets are held tightly in place for a good night's sleep.
Why is Linen a luxury?
One of the oldest textile fibers, linen is derived from the blue-flowered flax plant grown mainly in France and Belgium. Linen is 30% stronger than cotton and lasts for decades. In fact, it is not uncommon for European families to keep their linen sheets for many generations! It's also well known for its absorbency, and can absorb up to 20% of its own weight in moisture.
What makes our Linen different?
Our linen bedding is air-washed to ensure consistency and a softer hand feel. After dying our fabric, our air washing machine 'flaps' the sheets until they are dry. The motion is similar to how we flap our covers when we make our bed! This process ensures that the same hand feel is maintained even till the end of the life cycle of the product and uses less water compared to stone washing or chemically washing the fabric.
Is Linen For You?
Well loved for its cosy, rumpled aesthetic, linen is your fabric of choice if you have sensitive skin and need to frequently wash your sheets. It’s ultra durable and will stand the test of time — in fact, its slightly coarse handfeel will soften with each wash to become soft and cocooning.
How to care for Linen?
